Dr. Morgan Long
Veterinarian
After graduating from Berwick Academy in 1977, Dr. Long entered the University of New Hampshire and graduated in 1981 with a B.S in Pre-Vet and Animal Science with microbiology and biomedical electronics minors. He then entered Tufts University (Tufts Cummings) School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1985.
His veterinary career began at his childhood veterinary practice, South Berwick Veterinary Clinic, until the owner's retirement and sale of the practice. He joined the staff of Driftway Animal Hospital for the next 24 years as a clinician and surgical vet.
Purchasing Assonet Veterinary Hospital in 2013 and assembling a talented, experienced team (check out their bios!), together we navigated a relocation in 2022 and remain happily located at 1 South Main Street - The Assonet Four Corners.
When not caring for furry friends, he enjoys time with his kids, Eli and Robyn (who he tries to outshoot in target archery), woodworking, model railroading (since he was 9!), and playing (very) amateurish guitar, bass, and now banjo.
